Description
This study investigated the short-term effectiveness and perceived satisfaction of an intensive multidisciplinary treatment program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their carers. One aspect of treatment focused on improving speech.

Conclusions
The authors concluded that at the end of treatment, patients demonstrated significant gains in a number of areas, including speech. Patients reported high satisfaction with the intensive multidisciplinary program and 90% indicated that they would likely repeat the program.
