Description
This is a review of experimental and non-experimental studies on the clinical management of dysphagia associated with childhood traumatic brain injury (TBI).  Data on epidemiology, assessment, diagnosis and prognosis are included. 
 
Conclusions
The duration of speech-language pathology services is up to eight times longer for children with dysphagia post-TBI than for those without dysphagia.
